The Saint Lawrence River is a large international river in the middle latitude. The Saint Lawrence River map shows that this river connects the Great Lakes of North America to the North Atlantic Ocean. This river flows from Lake Ontario, toward the northeast direction to the Gulf of St Lawrence. This river is important for shipping routes. The total length of this river is 3058 kilometers (1900 miles) from the headwater to the mouth. The headwater of this river is at the Mesabi Range at Hibbing of Minnesota state of the United States. The average discharge of this river is 7,410 m3/s (262,000 cu ft/s) at the outflow of Lake Ontario.
